Just a reminder of the blood drive scheduled for Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the MPR. Students ages 16 and 17 may donate blood, but need to have a signed consent form with them. Forms are available from Mrs. Erdmann. Please contact LETTY MEHLHAFF AT 284-2661 OR 284-2698 if you would like to donate that day to set up an appointment.-Mrs. Erdmann

 

The Hoven FFA will be having a Soup Supper during the basketball double header match up in Hoven with the Eureka-Bowdle Patriots on January 25th!

** January 16, 2018 – Eastern Chapter of the South Dakota Engineering Society – Seniors – Must be pursuing an engineering degree and planning to attend SDSU or SD School of Mines and Technology.  See Mrs. Mettler for an application.

**February 1, 2018 – Cam Wal Electric Cooperative Scholarship -- Seniors – Must be a U.S. citizen and dependent of a member-system consumer – See Mrs. Mettler for an application.

**Friday, February 2, 2018 – Better Business Bureau Video Contest – Students grades 9th – 12th – Contest details available at www.bbbinc.org

**February 16, 2016 – Three FEM Electric Cooperative Scholarships – Seniors – Must be a child of an FEM Electric member – See Mrs. Mettler for an application.

**February 23 – Youth Business Adventure – Juniors and Sophomores – University of South Dakota – June 17-22 – See Mrs. Mettler for more information and an application.

**Avera St. Luke’s Auxiliary is offering FIVE (5) - $500 scholarships to high school seniors interested in pursuing a health-related career.  Application available at www.avera.org/about/scholarships/  Applications are due on or before March 6, 2017

**March 31, 2018 – Resource Conservation Speech Contest – 9th—12th grade – Topic “How Does Your Watershed?”  Cash prizes totaling $2,300.  See Mrs. Mettler for entry form.

**Deadlines will vary – Sioux Falls Community Foundation – Seniors – Over 50 different scholarship opportunities are available to students who will be attending college this fall – not every scholarship will be available to you.  Awards range from $250 - $5,000  per academic year.  I will give each senior a copy and you may also access it and apply directly at www.sfacf.org
