**Due Dates Vary – SD Community Foundation Scholarships – Seniors – Over 60 different scholarship opportunities are available to students who will be attending college in the fall of 2026 – not every scholarship will be available to you. **December 15, 2025 - Dakota Corps Scholarship (DCS) application is open for the 2026-2027 academic year – seniors - this scholarship provides SD students the opportunity to receive full college tuition and generally applicable fees in exchange for working in a critical-need occupation within South Dakota after completing their degree.
**FEM Electric will be sponsoring three students for a once in a lifetime trip to Washington, DC. Any junior or senior who lives in or attends school in the service area of FEM Electric are able to apply. All expenses are paid; you only need your own spending money. Applications are due December 22, 2025. See Mrs. Mettler for an application.
**January 12, 2026 – SD JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship – Seniors – must be attend a Technical College, College, or University starting fall of 2026. See Mrs. Mettler for an application.
**February 13 – Four FEM Electric Cooperative Scholarships – 1-$1,500, 1-$1,000, and 2-$500 - Seniors – Parents/guardians must be current FEM members – See Mrs. Mettler for an application and more information.
**February 27 – Agtegra Agricultural Scholarship – Seniors – Must be pursuing an agricultural degree/program or career field – See Mrs. Mettler for more information
**March 21 – South Dakota Youth Trooper Academy – Seniors – Sponsored by the SD Highway Patrol – June 22-26, 2026. It is in Pierre, SD. See Mrs. Mettler if interested.
**April 1 – Day County Coyote Hunt Scholarship - $2,000 – Seniors – must be attending a college, university, or technical college and have an immediate family member (parent, stepparent, grandparent, sibling) of a current soldier or Veteran of the Armed Forces.
**April 30, 2025 – Aberdeen Home Builders Association Scholarship – Seniors – Must attend an accredited SD college, university, technical, or community college and be entering the building trades field of study. See Mrs. Mettler for more information.
