On Wednesday, January 28, the Eureka High School senior class went to Pierre to learn more about state government. The seniors toured the South Dakota State Capitol building, watched the Senate State Affairs committee, and attended and were recognized in the Senate and the House of Representatives during session. Students also attended a session with their elected officials from District 23 (Rep. Spencer Gosch, Rep. Scott Moore, and Sen. Mark Lapka) and met South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden and Lieutenant Governor Tony Venhuizen.
