**Due Dates Vary – SD Community Foundation Scholarships – Seniors – Over 60 different scholarship opportunities are available to students who will be attending college in the fall of 2026 – not every scholarship will be available to you. Awards range per academic year. Applications available at SDCommunityFoundation.org/Scholarships
Must be postmarked by Friday, March 27, WEB Water Scholarship – Seniors – 3-$1,000 will be awarded – Available to those whose parents or guardians are members of WEB Water – See Mrs. Mettler with any questions.
**April 1 – USA Softball Scholarship – Seniors – Must have participated in the USA Softball of SD for at least 3 years – see Mrs. Mettler for an application
** April 1 – Donald H. Quimby Memorial Scholarship - $350 – Seniors – Must be attending a SD post-secondary institution. See Mrs. Mettler for an application.
**April 1 – Day County Coyote Hunt Scholarship - $2,000 – Seniors – must be attending a college, university, or technical college and have an immediate family member (parent, stepparent, grandparent, sibling) of a current soldier or Veteran of the Armed Forces.
**April 30, 2025 – Aberdeen Home Builders Association Scholarship – Seniors – Must attend an accredited SD college, university, technical, or community college and be entering the building trades field of study. See Mrs. Mettler for more information.
**Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who attend school in the FEM Electric’s territory are eligible to apply for the SD Rural Electric Youth Excursion to be held July 20-22, 2026. Applications are due June 1, 2026.
** Horatio Alger Creer & Technical Scholarship – Seniors – demonstrate a financial need, be a US citizen, attend a technical college – priority deadline June 15, 2026, see Mrs. Mettler for more information.
