Good morning. Friday, September 11th is the 25th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center. Many brave men and woman responded to a call in their line of duty that day when called upon. To help honor our local community members who dedicate their lives in these lines of duty, we have made Friday night's football game Military, Firefighter, EMS, and First Responder Appreciation Night. Anyone in these line of duty will get in free to the football games on Friday. In addition, at half-time, we would like to recognize everyone who falls in these lines of duty. If you would like to be recognized at half-time, please contact the school at 284 - 2875 and let Mr. Weismantel know. Thank you for your dedication to helping others. The admission allows for you to stay all day and watch the other two LRC High School football games today at 4:00 between Leola/Frederick and Northwestern and at 7:00 between Warner and Faulkton Area. Good afternoon. We have two announcements this afternoon. First, we can park normal around the building tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2nd. However, on Thursday and Friday, we will park similar to today as the city is chip sealing the roads. Second, the volleyball game that was scheduled to happen on Monday, September 7th in McLaughlin has been postponed to Friday, October 23rd . We will start JV at 5:00 PM Central Standard Time with Varsity to follow. Thank you.

Good evening. Per the city message that came out earlier today, there should be no parking on the North or East side of the school building. Students and staff may park in the main parking lot on the west side of the building. Other parking would be the street parking near the old Lyric Lanes. Thank you.

Good afternoon. There have been a couple of volleyball changes to the schedule. On Thursday, Sept 3rd, we have added a "C" game with Faulkton to start at 5:15 PM in Roscoe. The other change is on Tuesday, Sept 8th against Mobridge/Pollock, we have removed a "C" game as they do not have enough girls. We will play 2 middle school games starting at 4:00 with JV to start at roughly 6:15 PM and Varsity to start around 7:30 PM. Go Thunder!

Good morning. On Monday at our Back To School Night, we are doing a Trojan/Thunder Apparel Exchange. We are looking for donations of Trojan or Thunder apparel that no longer fit you or your children that another family could use. If you find something that would fit one of your children, it will be free will offering with all proceeds going to the Eureka Booster Club. We are hoping to share some school spirit with one another while cleaning out closets and helping each other out. If you have any clothes you'd like to donate, please drop them off at school before or during the Back To School Night. Thank you!
