On Friday, October 17th after the football game, FCA is hosting a 5th quarter party. All 6th-12th grade students in Eureka and Edmunds Central are invited. We are playing laser tag. There will be snacks provided. Hope to see you there!

Good morning. The middle school football game scheduled in Warner today has been cancelled. The varsity football game will start at 7:00 PM. Bus will leave at 3:15 from Eureka. Go Thunder.

This Friday, October 3rd, the North Central FB team will take on Faulkton Area in Eureka beginning at 7:00 PM. The theme for the evenings game will be "Pink Out" as the FB team will be wearing pink jerseys to promote awareness for breast cancer. We encourage all in attendance to wear pink to support the cause. Additionally, each player was given the opportunity to list the name of someone they are "playing in honor of" on the back of their jersey. Prior to the game we will be announcing those names. If you, or someone you know, would like a name announced, please contact the Edmunds Central School office at 605-287-4251 by the end of the day Thursday. Thank you and Go Thunder!

Seven students recently participated in the Teens as Teachers training held at the Barnett Center on the Northern State University campus. Teens As Teachers is a program unique to the South Dakota Youth Foundation. It equips high school students with leadership, communication, and teaching skills to mentor young children in areas such as health and nutrition. At the completion of the requirements, students earn scholarship money for post-secondary education.

Picture Retake Day will be held on Thursday, October 2nd beginning at 8:15 am.

The middle school football game held in Herreid tomorrow will start at 4:00 PM. In addition the JV game has been cancelled. Thank you.

The Edmunds Central PAC is inviting all students grades 6-8 to a scavenger hunt in Roscoe on Saturday October 4th from 7-9. If interested please see the attached flier.

Good afternoon. Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 24th is the nation wide See You At the Pole event starting at 7:45 AM in Eureka. This is a student led prayer event that occurs throughout the country. The Eureka Fellowship of Christian Athletes is sponsoring the event. We are inviting parents and students who are interested in attending. It will conclude shortly after 8:00 AM. There will be some minimal breakfast items available for the students such as granola bars and juice. Thank you.

Good morning. The North Central volleyball team plays in a tournament in Ipswich on Saturday. We are supposed to provide one line judge for the games we play in. We are looking for someone who is willing and able to line judge for our games in Ipswich on Saturday. If you are interested please contact Mr. Weismantel at 284-2875. Thank you!

Good afternoon. Here are a few changes to the activity schedule in September. On Tuesday, September 23rd we will play 6th/7th, 7th/8th, C, JV, and Varsity matches in Onida starting at 4:00 PM with a rolling schedule. On Friday, September 26th, we will no longer be playing a middle school football game against Hoven and the junior varsity game against them has been moved to Hoven starting at 7:00 PM. Lastly, the middle school volleyball tournament to be held in Roscoe on Saturday, September 27th has been cancelled. Thank you.
