Good morning. The Cross Country Meet in Hoven for today has been cancelled due to air quality. We will plan for cross country practice in Bowdle after school but we will also be monitoring air quality throughout the day in case that should not happen.
Due to the weather, the youth and middle school football games scheduled for tonight in Bowdle have been cancelled. We will still have 6th-12th grade practice in Bowdle after school.

September 11-15 is Homecoming Week at Eureka! The theme this year is Mythology! Be sure to show your school spirit by dressing up for one of our dress-up days! Go THUNDER!
The volleyball game on Tuesday, September 5th in Mobridge will have the following schedule: 6th grade game at 4:00 PM; 7th grade & C game at 5:00 PM; 8th & JV at 6:00 PM; Varsity 7:15 PM. It will be a rolling schedule once it starts so the times are approximate. Go Thunder!
The "C" volleyball match in Faulkton set for tomorrow has been cancelled. We will start with JV at 6:30 PM followed by Varsity. The bus will leave Eureka at 4:15 PM.
The North Central Thunder girls volleyball teams will host the South Border Mustangs tonight in Eureka. It will be a rolling schedule but approximate times are 3:30 PM - 6th/7th Gr; 4:15 PM- 8th Gr; 5:00 PM -C; 6:30 PM -JV; 7:45 PM- Varsity.

Here are some schedules changes for activities. The middle school football game against Langford on Friday, September 1st has been cancelled. We will play one high school football game against Langford on Friday starting at 7:00 PM in Eureka. In addition, we have added a Middle School Football Jamboree on Saturday, September 23rd in Onida to the middle school football schedule. Finally, we have added a middle school volleyball game against Mclaughlin in Bowdle on Thursday, September 7th at 5:15 PM before we play their JV and Varsity that night. Go Thunder!
CORRECTION: Tonight is our first home football game in Eureka! Come out and support the North Central Thunder as they take on McLaughlin. Middle School starts at 5:00 PM and High School at 6:30 PM. The volleyball games on Thursday in Roscoe will start at 4:30 with one middle school game. After that we will roll the schedule with a C game, then JV game, and then the varsity game. Go Thunder.
The Cross Country Meet in Mobridge for Saturday will start at 9:00 AM. Also, the YTC Volleyball tournament on Saturday in Gettysburg starts at 10:00 AM. We play against McIntosh at 10:00 AM. We also play Herreid/Selby Area and Wakpala during round robin play. Go Thunder!!!

Here are some schedule changes in sports schedules. The football games on Friday in Warner start at 5:30 PM with a middle school game followed by the high school game at 7:00 PM. The football games scheduled on Friday, September 22nd with Potter County have been cancelled. The middle school football team will play Potter County on Monday, September 11th at 4:00 PM in Bowdle. Also, the middle school football games schedule on Monday, October 2nd against Sully Buttes have been cancelled. For volleyball, the games scheduled at Strasburg on Thursday, September 28th will start at 6:00 PM with a "C" game followed by the Varsity game around 7:15. Go Thunder!

Reminder, tonight is the Parent/Athlete Sports meeting in Eureka at 6:30 PM. In addition, the 3rd - 5th grade football team will be handing out equipment in the shed in the alley between the school and the Lutheran Church starting at 5:30 PM. Any high school or middle school football player that needs equipment for the year will also be able to get that tonight after the meeting.
Equipment hand out for Youth Football (3rd - 5th grades) will be July 31st at 5:30 PM in the shed located directly south of the Lutheran Church in Eureka. The North Central Sports Cooperative will have our annual Parent & Athlete Meeting on Monday, July 31st in Eureka at 6:30 PM. Parent and athletes can meet their coaches, get their sports packets, and get practice schedules for the upcoming year. Reminder that all athletes need to have their physicals completed before the first day of practice to participate.
