Reminder, tonight is the Parent/Athlete Sports meeting in Eureka at 6:30 PM. In addition, the 3rd - 5th grade football team will be handing out equipment in the shed in the alley between the school and the Lutheran Church starting at 5:30 PM. Any high school or middle school football player that needs equipment for the year will also be able to get that tonight after the meeting.
Equipment hand out for Youth Football (3rd - 5th grades) will be July 31st at 5:30 PM in the shed located directly south of the Lutheran Church in Eureka. The North Central Sports Cooperative will have our annual Parent & Athlete Meeting on Monday, July 31st in Eureka at 6:30 PM. Parent and athletes can meet their coaches, get their sports packets, and get practice schedules for the upcoming year. Reminder that all athletes need to have their physicals completed before the first day of practice to participate.
The North Central Sport Cooperative wants to let everyone know that this past week at the regular board meetings it was decided that we will not be playing a Varsity football schedule but will be playing a Junior Varsity football schedule for the upcoming football season. We are working on finalizing a Junior Varsity football schedule for the fall.

Reminder that the Pacesetter basketball camp will be held Monday July 10 - Wednesday July 12 in the Eureka school gymnasium. Girls grades 9-12 will be from 9AM-11:30AM. The north door of gym will be open at 8:30 AM. Girls grades 5-8 will be 12:00PM-2:00PM. Boy grades 7-12 will be 2:00PM-4:30PM. Go Thunder!
Reminder the Girls Thunder Basketball camp will be held in Bowdle starting Monday June 19 - Wednesday June 21 from 9AM - 11:30 AM. The bus will leave Eureka at 8:15 AM. Campers should meet at north door of gym to load the bus. The bus will return after camp approximately around 12:00 PM. Athletes still may register for camp. There is a football open field in Bowdle tonight at 6:30 PM. There will be a bus at the north door at 6:00 PM for those attending. Anyone planning to play football from 6-12th grade for the 2023-2024 school year is invited.

This is Superintendent Nick Weismantel with an important announcement. Due to Region Track being moved to tomorrow, Friday, May 19th, we have a change of schedules for the 7th - 12th grade students. Students in grades 7 & 8 who get checked out today do NOT need to attend school tomorrow. Students in grades 9 - 12 will be in school tomorrow for the first couple of periods but will be allowed to leave once they are checked out. All students in grades 7 - 12 need to be checked out by 12:00 tomorrow. Grades K - 6 will have the same schedule of being dismissed at 12:00 PM. They will be going to the park if the air quality allows it.
