EHS Student Council is getting into the holiday spirit with Candy Cane Grams! You can send a Candy Cane Gram to anyone you like within school (fellow students, teachers, bus drivers, cooks, janitors, etc.). Order forms have been given to the classroom teachers. They are due by Wednesday, December 13, but will gladly be accepted any time before then. If you would like to send a Candy Cane Gram but are outside the school system, please get in touch with Ms. Jundt. Candy Cane Grams will be delivered on Friday, December 15 (Tuesday, December 19 for Pre-K).


We will be opening the store again for basketball apparel until Friday, December 1st at 10:00 AM! If you forgot to order, or you are wanting additional items, you can order until Friday. If you choose to pick up this time, it means you will need to pick your order up at GeffDog in Aberdeen.

The 2nd graders used Spheros to walk in the 1st Annual Second Grade Thanksgiving parade. First, the students went on a virtual trip to New York City to learn about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Next, the students designed their very own balloon. They attached this balloon that a cup which was placed over a Sphero and then driven using an iPad. The second graders paraded through the school to showcase their balloons. This project encompassed a variety of subjects including STEM, history, and art.

The North Central Thunder Sports Cooperative is looking to hire for the following coaching positions: Middle School Boys Basketball, 4th/5th Grade Boys Basketball. Middle School Boys Basketball is planning to start practice on November 27th, 4th/5th boys basketball is planning to start practicing on December 11th. There is a schedule change for the middle school girls basketball games in Eureka today. We will play one game against Leola/Frederick starting at 5:00 PM. Following that game, we will play an intra-squad scrimmage. Go Thunder!!

It's time for basketball season! Basketball apparel is now for sale! Orders will be done online and shipped directly to everyone. Names can be put on the back of the items for additional charge. There will be informational basketball meetings on Tuesday, November 14th at Bowdle at 4:00 PM for all athletes interested in playing basketball. The school will provide transportation to and from the meeting. If you are interested in playing but are unable to attend, please reach out to your coach. Go Thunder!
