We are having a Parent/Athlete Sports meeting in Bowdle at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3rd. If you are unable to make it and your child is planning on participating in a fall sport, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. Go Thunder!

There will be a football equipment handout on Wednesday, July 27th in Eureka. 6:00 PM for High Schoolers, 7:00 PM for Middle Schoolers. The high schoolers will go down to the field after they get their equipment.

The Eureka School District is looking to hire one full-time Special Education paraprofessional for the 2022 - 2023 school year. If you are interested please stop by the office to grab an application or call the school at 284 - 2875. Application deadline is Friday, July 22nd.

Due to the parking lot at school getting some work done on it, all summer school students will need to be dropped off at Door 6 on the East side of the building. Thank you.

Reminder! Girls Thunder Basketball Camp will be held Monday June 27- Wednesday June 29 in Bowdle from 9:00 - 11:00 AM! Doors will open at 8:40 for the gym. Girls can still register for the camp, but are not guaranteed a shirt as early registration was due May 27th. Eureka bus will leave at 8:00 AM daily and will return around 11:30 AM! Please bring water bottle and gym shoes! Go Thunder!

The Lions Club Kid Fishing Derby scheduled for Saturday, June 18th has been CANCELLED due to the weather forecast. Once again, the Lions Club Kid Fishing Derby has scheduled for Saturday, has been CANCELLED.

The Eureka School District will be hosting area police tomorrow, Wednesday, June 15th for Active Shooter Training. We just wanted everyone to know that we are expecting police officers at school tomorrow and it is not an emergency. Thank You!!

Due to an unforeseen situation with Coach Donovan, he will not be able to hold the summer lifting program in Eureka this summer. The summer lifting program for this summer in Eureka will be cancelled.

Early registration deadlines for the Thunder Girls Basketball and Volleyball camps are approaching! The Thunder Girls Basketball camp is for grades 4-7 and will be held June 27-29 in Bowdle. Early registration to guarantee shirts needs to be mailed by May 27! The summer school letters will be mailed out with the report cards for those of you who signed up for summer school. Summer school will start on June 7th and is on Tuesday & Thursday mornings for one hour sessions. We will have 8 weeks of sessions. We are looking forward to providing this opportunity for those who signed up.

The North Central Sports Cooperative is looking for a Head Cross Country Coach. If you are interested in this position, please reach out to Nick Weismantel at 284 - 2875. Application deadline is Tuesday, May 31st.

This is Superintendent Nick Weismantel with some important announcements. Due to the projected weather on Thursday, the Region Track Meet has been moved to Wednesday, May 18th, starting at 11:00 AM in Gettysburg. With this change, tomorrow, Tuesday, May 17th will be the last day of school for grades 7 – 12 this school year. Things to remember for the students will be computer bags, books for all classes and the library, money to pay bills, and anything else that belongs to the school. If the student gets all bills paid and signed out from everyone, they will be signed out for the year. If they do not get everyone to sign off on their form, they will need to be in school on Wednesday, May 18th in the morning to finish getting signed out. This change does not affect anyone in the elementary.
