Good morning. The Girls JV game for today is back on starting at 4:00 PM against Aberdeen Christian. We will play Girls JV, followed by Boys JV, Girls Varsity and then Boys Varsity. The Eureka bus will be leaving at 2:45. Go Thunder!!
Here is an update for the basketball calendar. Tomorrow there will be NO JV girls game against Aberdeen Christian. The JV Boys will start at 5:15 PM. The Middle School games against Ipswich on Friday will be in Roscoe starting at 5:00 PM. The High School Boys play against Lyman in Highmore on Saturday starting at 12:30 PM. The High School Girls play against Jones County at 2:30 PM in Highmore on Saturday. On Monday, February 5th, there will be NO middle school games against Herreid/Selby Area that day and those games are looking to be rescheduled. We will play McIntosh on Monday, February 5th in Eureka with a Intrasquad JV boys game at 4:00 PM followed by JV girls at 5:15, Varsity Boys at 6:30 PM and Varsity girls at 8:00 PM. On Saturday, February 10th ours boys will travel to Herreid to take on Herreid/Selby Area starting with Middle School at 12:00/1:00 PM followed by JV 2:00 PM and Varsity at 3:30 PM. On February 13th the girls will play Great Plains Lutheran in Aberdeen starting with JV girls at 5:00 PM followed by the varsity girls. On Monday, February 19th the boys will play Great Plains Lutheran in Aberdeen with the JV boys at 5:00 PM followed by the varsity boys. Go Thunder!!

Due to potential blizzard conditions later this evening, the Boys basketball games against Herreid/Selby in Herreid for tonight have been postponed. We are still planning practice. High school boys will be in Eureka, Middle School boys will be in Roscoe, High School Girls will be in Bowdle. 4th & 5th grade boys basketball practice scheduled for today has been CANCELLED due to lack of gym space for tonight. Another change to the schedule is the Middle School Boys will now play against Herreid/Selby Area tomorrow in Bowdle at 4:00 & 5:00 PM before the girls JV games which start at 6:30 PM. Go Thunder!
Here is a basketball schedule update. The Doubleheader basketball games scheduled against McIntosh have been rescheduled to Monday, February 5th in Eureka starting at 4:00 PM. We have also added a Middle School boys basketball game on Saturday in Langford starting at 11:30 AM. The tentative make-up dates with Great Plains Lutheran are Tuesday, February 13th for the girls team and Monday, February 19th for the boys team both held in Aberdeen. Game times are to be determined as of right now. Go Thunder!!
